A second-hand vehicle bought at a dealer’s: a new autodna.com cycle, part 7
Opel is one of the most popular car brands in Poland. Audi may not be as common but the Polish drivers really like the A4 and A6. Say, you want to buy a second hand Insignia for 170 k PLN or a pre-owned Audi that has extended warranty; how would you look for the best deal? Find the answers in our dedicated post.
The official Opel programme has an outstandingly intuitive and easily readable website. It only features selected dealers (available in 8 of the 16 Polish voivodships) although most of them offer second-hand vehicles anyway. Every vehicle offered at Opel Certified Used Cars (OCUC) features a service warranty covering up to 2 years as well as roadside assistance in Poland and abroad, for at least 6 months, regardless of the mileage. Despite the name, the program also offers other brands such as Hyundai, Mazda and BMW. The price range is quite big, from under 10k PLN up to more than 170k PLN for an Opel Insignia OPC.
Audi Select: plus
The programme offers a wide range of used cars that are at most 5 years old and have up to 150,000 km on the clock. Vehicles are covered by guarantee (from 1 year to 3 years). Audi models are the most popular here but you can also find offers from other brands. This means that the price range can be large: from under a hundred thousand PLN to several hundred thousand.
The added 3-year warranty offered with 1-year old cars is a big plus. As a result, a second-hand car will be protected for up to 4 years. Older vehicles qualify for a 1-year warranty, covering the costs of service. As part of this programme, the buyers receive special motor insurance packages via theAudi Insurance Service. This offer includes a very extensive assistance service with a replacement car for up to 7 days. The users also receive an additional insurance discount (10%) in addition to all other discounts for accident-free driving.
